Bob Thompson
This pub is (was, see below) to be found in the district of Brigittenau, north of the centre. It was at Dresdner Strasse 38-40 in the Brigitta-Passage, a shopping centre. Trams 31 and 33 stop almost outside.
Although in a modern building it was fairly traditional inside. I passed the brewery on the left near the entrance door and placed myself in the middle of the bar room. Three draught beers were available: Helle (light); Schwarze (black) and Weizen (wheat). I tried the first two, the Helles was fine but I thought the Schwarze was the better of the two. Both were quite gassy. The food seemed to be classic Austrian.
Important Information:
Sadly, this pub closed some time between my visit and 2011. It was only established in 2003, a great pity. It remains on BeerVisits for archive and historical reasons.
