First stop on this day was Migration at 2828 NE Glisan Street. This is very much a neighbourhood pub, having a laid back Portland feel with baseball on the ubiquitous TV.

Some interesting beers were offered, see this list which, as well as abvs, also gives IBUs (International Bittering Units). Luscious Lupulin IPA (6.5%/77), Clem's Cream Ale (4.6%/22), PDX Kölsch (4.3%/27), Old Silenus Amber Ale (6.3%/75), MPA (Migration Pale Ale) (5.2%/56), Terry's Porter (6.7%/42), MPA Dry hopped with Clusters, Clem's Cream Ale on mixed gas.




There were also seasonals: Black-Hearted Ale (7.2%/68), Kenyan AA Coffee IPA and Timbers Ale had just ran out. The higher the IBU the greater the bitterness.

I had samplers or tastes of all and, being an ale-only brewery, I liked the lot, in varying degrees. My reward pint was the dry hopped MPA. I would highly recommend this pub and brewery.

This brewpub is on NE Glisan Street between 28th and 29th Streets.
Bus No 19 runs from the city centre along Glisan Street, alight at 28th Street. It is only five blocks north of E Burnside Street, where there is small concentration of pubs and brewpubs.
