This pub is located right in the central area, postal district 1. It is Stadtbrauerei Schwarzenberg at Schellinggasse 14. It's not far from the Opera (Oper) and the beautiful government ministry buildings of this once huge country and empire. The interior is mostly decorated with varnished wood, almost alpine style, and there are also outside tables.
On this visit there were only the three beers from the standard range, which were Helles (5.0%), Dunkles (4.9%) and Weizenbier (5.1%).
I had the first two and have to say that they weren't particularly outstanding, merely acceptable. It was a pity that there wasn't a beer of the month available as there normally is. After that it wasn't very far to walk to the next watering hole, 1516, around the corner.
I am sure drinkers will find this brew pub well worth making a diversion to visit.
